John Keiffer
Founder
JCK Acoustics
John Keiffer has more than 20 years of experience in acoustics and noise control. John’s expertise includes architectural acoustics, mechanical system noise and vibration control, vibration and structural analysis and environmental noise evaluation and mitigation. Over the years, John has managed projects of all scales and in all sectors. As owner of JCK Acoustics, he has been involved with projects across China, the Americas, Middle East, Europe and Africa providing solutions from concept to reality.
Hospitality and Hotel projects are an area of particular interest. Mr. Keiffer has conducted a survey evaluating guest satisfaction for over 100 hotels in Shanghai to help better understand the needs for acoustic and noise control in Asia. The guest survey was followed with a test and measurement survey of more than 60 hotels to acquire the “pulse” of individual facilities and determine why the perform as they do.

Xiao Jun has extended his profession from design to management consulting, especially dedicating his efforts to organizing research of generating the best values for workplace, helping clients conceive of transformations with holistic change management methods, communicating logically and thoroughly.
He strongly believes that “Design is not only a shell, a project that is carried out with meticulous methodologies and management.”
This encompasses client communications, project management and research findings from a psychological and comprehensive perspective, and the ability to transform them into integrated workplace strategies. This is one of the core competencies of iDA and Xiao Jun draws from an extensive toolkit of theory, design practices, garnering data from each client’s workplace.
