Architect's Description
At the end of Century Ave in the heart of Century Plaza, the complex of three new buildings of the Shanghai International Financial Center forms a complement to the City Center plaza and frames the center of Pudong and Century Park.

The underlying attitude and challenge in the design of the Shanghai International Financial Center is to design a powerful, unified complex of memorable image while addressing the three corporations' individual needs and providing each with an appropriate individual identity. The three towers are united by a 150 m long sky bridge and become one landmark.

设计主旨“金融之门”是创造一个过目不忘的总体形象，同时又赋予每家金融机构业主独特的标志性。三栋建筑相辅相成，由一座150米长的空中廊桥相互连接为整体。

在世纪大道端点的世纪广场，三座塔楼拔地而起构成“金融之门”，向世纪广场敞开，成为陆家嘴中心区和世纪公园远眺的景框。
