2018 Second Annual Banquet
2017 was a big year for AIA Shanghai. We developed a standard event program, invited well known architects like James Carpenter and Fumihiko Maki to speak to local audiences, established a website, led building tours, and in doing all of this, engaged Shanghai's vibrant design community.
On Saturday, January 20th, over 300 AIA Shanghai members and friends gathered at the Langham Xintiandi Hotel for a night of networking, sharing ideas, and celebration of what we've built and learned over the past year. The banquet also served as a formal handover ceremony for AIA Shanghai's 2018 Chapter Officers, including our new President, Alton Chow, and Vice President Silas Chiow.

We took a chance to recognize our community partners, which included Arcplus, Tonji University College of Architecture and Design, the Architectural Society of Shanghai, China, and Tianhua.
